À propos de Dominic

Hello, I’m Dominic Moore from Cork. As Convenor of our local group the Cork Humanists, it has been my honour to oversee projects like providing picnics for our less fortunate brothers and sisters in Direct Provision and for Ukrainian Children displaced by War. I am interested in social justice on a level where my input can make a difference, and this includes volunteering for the Cork Life Centre and Cork Simon. On a national level, I am a director on the HAI Board and the editor of our digital magazine Being Human.

Being a Celebrant is a perfect outward expression of how I have come to feel about myself and my duty as a human being on our fragile planet. I live for sharing good experiences with good people and my Humanist Celebrancy continues this collaboration.

A perfect Humanist Ceremony is a ‘successful production’ while being authentic. It is secular, collaborative, flexible, and follows a specific and well-planned and rehearsed order of events. We will work together to create and conduct a Ceremony that is personal, unique and tailored for you.

In my life apart from Humanism, I am a digital officer for the Butter Museum in Shandon, an actor (does anyone remember RTE’s The Rimini Riddle and The Morbegs?), a voice-over artist for radio and tv, and a writer.

I’m looking forward to hearing from and working with you.
