Amanda Horan

Being a Humanist Celebrant combines two of my passions: connecting with people and creative writing. I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance Counselling and a Masters in Chaplaincy and Pastoral work. I have worked as a Guidance Counsellor in a Post Primary school and as a teacher for 15 years. I bring this experience of engaging with people, listening to their needs and offering support during emotive times. I am very flexible and have a relaxed approach. I will work collaboratively with you to ensure your ceremony reflects your unique personalities, needs and wishes. My primary goal is to facilitate an inclusive, personalised ceremony that marks the important milestones of life. I am from Laois. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time hiking, walking my dogs and spending time with family and friends.
