Acerca de Sean
Over the course of four years officiating non-traditional ceremonies, Dr. Sean Hillman has performed 70 ceremonies, mostly weddings but also baby-namings and funerals. A Medical Anthropologist and former bedside caregiver for two decades, by day Sean is the lead clinical bioethicist for a 5-hospital system in Durham Region. On the side Sean finds great meaning in working closely with couples and families to co-create life event rites that best suit their needs. Sean can perform bilingual ceremonies in English, French, Tibetan, Hindi and Chinese if needed.
