Scott Barnes

A member of Humanist Canada since 2019, and an advocate for secular humanism since the late 20th Century, Scott Jonathan Barnes is a Caring, Fun, Supportive member of the Humanist Canada community. A member of Scouts Canada, Scott is an outdoor enthusiast; he is also a teacher and holds a master's degree in Environmental Education. While his degree is in Philosophy and English, Scott is an accomplished dramatist and performer, and has been Emceeing weddings since the early 2000s. Scott looks forward to working with you to formalize and ceremonialize the special events and rites of passage in your own life.
