About Frances
Servicing Muskoka and Surrounding area as well as Manitoulin Island
As a Humanist Canada Officiant, I believe the best ceremonies are the ones that reflect the people at the centre of them. Your story, your relationships, your values, your quirks—all of those things matter.
Whether You're celebrating your love at your wedding, honouring someone you've loved and lost, welcoming a child, or marking another important moment, I’ll take the time to get to know what matters to you. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all ceremonies. I believe in creating something that feels genuinely yours.
My approach is relaxed, warm, and professional, with a healthy appreciation for the fact that life's important moments don't always go exactly according to plan. My job is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and confident that the ceremony will reflect who you are.
I've been creating and officiating ceremonies for several years, and what I love most about the work is the people I get to meet and the stories they share with me. Whether a ceremony is joyful, funny, emotional, complicated—or all of those things at once—I want the people standing in front of me to feel that I understand what this moment means to them.
To me, ceremony isn't about lofty words. It's about the right words for the right people, in a way that feels honest and real.
It would be an honour to help you create a ceremony that feels like you—and one that your family and friends will remember for all the right reasons.
